The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from). NKH Fitness understands that you care how information about you is used and we appreciate your trust in us to do this professionally. This policy describes the personal information, details, circumstances in which we share the information and the steps that we take to protect your privacy and personal details on our Excel database. By visiting NKH Fitness, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this organisation. Our procedures are very important that you understand the awareness of Health and Safety and the rules of the venue where we hold our group exercise classes.

This privacy policy aims to give you information on how we collect and process your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you book a class, buy something from our store, or sign up to receive notification emails.

 

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

Any personal information provided to or gathered by NKH Fitness is controlled by our organisation whose office is located at our address.

We also create information that becomes part of the personal information on our Excel database to keep your personal details safe. Contacting us via our website or when you use our site (www.nkhfitness.co.uk) or contacting us by email, text or WhatsApp we collect, store and use certain personal information that you disclose to us. These include details such as your full name, telephone, mobile phone number, and email as well as location data and other communication data whether it is required for our billing purposes. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

 

We store personal information to provide the services you request from NKH Fitness such as to facilitate - administrations of our Excel databases, bookings on Bookwhen of classes with our services and other transactions. We may also use the information to advertise products and services to process payments and maintain accounts and records to prevent crime aid the prosecution of offenders and maintain our participant records. We also may use your details to send you updates, newsletters and promotions. When you request information from us or make an enquiry, we add you to our database.

 

If you fail to provide personal data 

Where we need to collect your data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

The information about our participants is an important part of our business and we do not share your information to others. The Data Protection rights, property, or safety of NKH Fitness our users or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and risk reduction. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties as our commitments are made in this policy. This does not include selling, sharing participants' personal information disclosing identifiable details from clients for commercial purposes.

 

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

 

A) Performance of Contract: this means processing your data where it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request before entering into such a contract.

B) Legitimate Interest: this means the interest of our business in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service/product and the most secure experience. We make sure we consider and balance any potential impact on you (both positive and negative) and your rights before we process your personal data for our legitimate interests. We do not use your personal data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you unless we have your consent.

Please note that you will be unable to use Bookwhen to book your classes if you do not provide us with a valid email address.

If you have any issues about NKH Fitness, please email us a thorough clear description and we will try to resolve this issue for you – please do not send your complaints to us on social media. Our website terms and conditions, and policies may change. You should check our website constantly to see recent updates. Our current Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your details.

Procedures

 

FIRE EXITS: There are fire exits at the venues where we currently hold our classes. In the event of a fire or other emergency, alarms will sound throughout the facility. Do not run while the alarm occurs, and we will leave the building via the nearest Fire Exit. Fire alarms and extinguishers are located conspicuously throughout the venue.

 

FOOD AND DRINKS: We do not provide food and drink to the classes. Participants are not allowed to bring any soft drinks, alcohol and beverages to the class except a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

 

INJURIES: If an injury occurs during the classes, please let us know immediately to assist with First Aid and to document an incident. Emergency phones and mobile phones may be also used.

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY: This is a strict policy as we advised our participants not to record or take photographs during classes due to copyright claims. We will be taking photos and videos of the class for promotional purposes and advertising only. If you feel that you do not want to be filmed or photographed to promote, please let us know before we commence our classes. Importantly, we won’t film and take photos of children under the age of 18 due to safeguarding concerns.

 

SMOKING: We do not allow participants to smoke during classes, which is prohibited in all facilities in the venue. Anything such as drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and tobacco are prohibited in class.

 

MOBILE PHONES: Mobile phones must be on silent to prevent disruption of a class; you cannot use your phone during classes or exercise. Please be considerate to keep your phone on mute or switched off.

Please be respectful towards other participants, instructors, and guests in our positive environment to keep our classes going smoothly and professionally. Failure to apply these conditions will result in suspension and termination of one’s details on our database.
